This is a long way from the city, so we agree the laundry pickup time with you on WhatsApp instead of promising an hour. Message us when you leave Hatta and we work out when the bag must be with us. These are the things a mountain weekend normally leaves to wash.
Will the bag be back before I leave Hatta?
Pick your flight time. Hatta is a long drive from the airport, so allow 3 hours at the airport plus the road back to Dubai, which the figure below reflects.
A taxi from Hatta to Dubai International Airport takes around an hour and a half or more, depending on the road and traffic.

No, you can leave the bag at reception under your lodge number. Message us by message that it is there and when it will be ready for collection. If you are out on the trail or at the dam, nothing is lost, because the bag stays safely with the lodge team until the driver arrives.

Washing is AED 60 for up to 6kg and AED 99 for 12kg. Dry cleaning and pressing are priced per garment, and the full total appears by message before the driver leaves for Hatta.

Hand it over by noon and we aim for that evening. Because of the distance, we confirm the exact return time by message. Anything later returns the next day, much as it does for Bab Al Shams guests out in the desert.

Yes, muddy cycling kit goes in the weighed wash and fold bag. Put it in a separate bag if it is very wet, and message us by message so the driver brings a spare. Shoes are cleaned separately, because dried mud needs a different treatment from the washing machine.

Yes, leather and boots are collected with the rest of your laundry. These jobs take longer: shoes two to four days and leather three to five. Send them early in a longer stay.

Hand the bag over at least a day before you leave. The drive is long, and the airport hotel Le Méridien Dubai is a very different journey. Message us your departure time by message and we name the last sensible hour, then return to Hatta before you set off.

Damani Lodges stand at Hatta Wadi Hub in the Hajar Mountains, around six minutes by car from the Hatta Water Dam and far from the Dubai city routes. Damani Lodges at Hatta Wadi Hub
Damani Lodges first opened in 2018 at Hatta Wadi Hub, developed by Meraas and now run by Dubai Holding as part of Hatta Resorts, against the Hajar Mountains. The lodges come in Standard, Deluxe and Premium sizes, each with a covered porch, a private barbecue area and a fire pit, and a mountain bike trail runs alongside. Guests drop us trail garments, jackets and towels.
