The island lies more than 250 km from the capital, so a laundry pickup is arranged ahead on WhatsApp and handed over through the resort's reception or jetty, never at your villa door. A week on an island runs on a schedule, and the laundry has to fit it. This is what guests of Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort usually want cleaned, depending on how they spend their days.
Will my clothes be back before my flight home?
Add your flight time. Three hours at the airport are counted for an international trip, and the road and sea crossing from Sir Bani Yas sit on top of that.
From the mainland coast, the drive to Zayed International Airport takes about three to four hours, before the crossing from the island.

Cleaning can be same day, though the sea crossing sets its own pace. Anything we get before 12 noon is cleaned straight away, and the trip back is worked out with you.

A 6kg wash costs AED 60 and a 12kg wash AED 99. Villa guests often send one bag halfway through the stay and a second at the end, once the beach days are done and the case is half packed.

About Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort
Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort opened in July 2013 on the eastern shore of Sir Bani Yas Island, with 30 beachfront villas, each with a private plunge pool and a villa host. Its restaurants include Olio, Samak and the beachside Amwaj, and the villas reopened refreshed in 2025. Guests mostly send us swimwear, linen and evening outfits.
