Why Choose Laundrykhalas for
Soft Toy Cleaning in Julphar?
Plush is foam, fibre and glue, not fabric. Very few cleaners in Julphar wash one without wrecking it.
How We Clean a Soft Toy in Julphar
Check and Test
Seams, fixings and filling are checked, electronics found and dealt with, and the dye colour-tested on a hidden patch. Anything already loose or likely to stay stained is reported before cleaning starts.
Hand Wash and Sanitise
Washed by hand at low temperature in sections, never in a drum, then sanitised through the filling to deal with dust mites and bacteria rather than just the smell.
Dry, Brush and Check
Air-dried at room temperature until the core of the stuffing is dry, then brushed out along the fur so the pile stands up, and checked over once more before it is packed.

Soft Toy Cleaning FAQs, Julphar
Occasionally, though the drying stage cannot be rushed. The wash is quick; the toy then has to dry right through the filling, and that part cannot be shortened without leaving damp stuffing that grows mildew. If the date is tight, tell us at booking and we will say honestly whether it fits rather than returning it damp.
- Tell us the Julphar deadline before booking, not after
- Drying needs 24 to 48 hours minimum, longer for large plush
- We say no rather than return a toy that is damp inside
Yes, and large plush is AED 120 per toy. Metre-tall unicorns, giant bears and character toys are cleaned the same way as a small teddy: by hand, in sections, sanitised and dried to the core. Size changes the price and the drying time, not the method. We see this often on toys from RAK City.
- Large plush AED 120, including the sanitising step
- Expect an extra day of drying on dense stuffing
- Send a photo and we will confirm the size band
Yes, and conservatively, with any risk explained first. Older toys have weak seams, perished foam and dye that has already faded, and none of that comes back. We say what cleaning will and will not fix before starting, and where we would not risk a wash at all, we tell you that instead of trying.
- Older and collectible toys cleaned conservatively
- Risks to fabric and fixings explained before any work
- We decline rather than risk a toy that cannot be replaced
Yes, and batches can be scheduled to suit you. Nurseries, classrooms and waiting rooms in Julphar put the same toys through dozens of children a week. Those are collected together, cleaned and sanitised as one batch with a per-toy price, and returned together so a room is never left short. We cover Mina Al Arab as well.
- Batch pricing per toy for playrooms and waiting rooms
- Collected and returned together so a room is never empty
- Standing collections available across Julphar
Between AED 55 and AED 120, depending on how big it is. Small toys are AED 55, medium AED 70 and large plush AED 120, covering the hand wash, sanitising, drying and the brush finish. Collection in Julphar is free on orders from AED 30. Collection reaches RAK City on the same run.
- Small AED 55, medium AED 70, large plush AED 120
- Price covers washing, sanitising, drying and grooming
- Free collection and return across Ras Al Khaimah from AED 30
Yes, and collection and return are free on orders from AED 30. We collect from homes, nurseries, schools and clinics in Julphar on a booked slot and return them the same way. Because one small toy sits near the AED 30 threshold, most people send several together. Toys from Al Hamra Village follow the same route.
- Free doorstep pickup anywhere in Julphar
- Home, nursery, clinic and classroom collections are standard
- AED 30 minimum order for free pickup and delivery
Not when it is washed by hand rather than by machine. A drum splits seams, pulls glued eyes loose and pushes the filling into hard lumps. Every toy is washed by hand in sections at low temperature and dried flat instead, which is why it comes back the same shape. We see this often on toys from Mina Al Arab.
- No drum washing and no tumble drying at any stage
- Dye colour-tested on a hidden patch before anything gets wet
- Seams, eyes and noses checked before and after cleaning
Allow two to three days from the day we collect. Washing takes an hour or two. The wait is drying to the centre of the stuffing, which cannot be rushed with heat. Tell us if it is the bedtime toy and we plan around that. The RAK City collection route runs daily.
- Two to three days is typical, four for large or dense toys
- Drying to the core is the limiting step and cannot be rushed
- Tell us if a child is waiting and we schedule around it

"Used them for a keepsake teddy from Julphar because the dust made her sneeze at bedtime, and the stitching is all intact. They found a loose eye and told me rather than returning it like that."
"Left it to the last minute and nothing went near a machine drum. It does not smell, which was the whole point."
via Google "My daughter's bear has been slept with for four years and I was too scared to wash it. It came back clean and still soft, and she did not notice anything different about it, which was the whole point."
"We do this every couple of months now because of my son's asthma. They clean the bedding and his two toys together and the difference in his mornings is obvious."
"Big unicorn plush, about a metre tall. Took four days because of the drying, which they told me upfront, and it came back fluffy instead of the flat mess I got from the machine last time."
via Trustpilot "They found a loose eye on one of the toys and told me instead of sending it back like that. Small thing, but with a toddler in the house it mattered."
"We sent eleven toys from our nursery playroom. Collected on Sunday, back midweek, all labelled and counted correctly. The batch price was fair for the work."
via Website "A singing elephant with the sound box sewn in. I assumed it was not washable. They cleaned around the unit and it still plays, so I was wrong."
"My mother's teddy from the sixties. They said in advance the faded patches would not improve and not to expect white, and that honesty is why I used them again."

Families across Julphar send the bed toy first, and it is usually the oldest and thinnest in the house. That one is washed on its own by hand, sanitised through the filling where dust mites sit, and dried flat over two to three days. Collection and return across Ras Al Khaimah are free on orders from AED 30.
