What Makes Laundrykhalas for
Our Toy Cleaning Gentle in Dubai Hills Estate?
The toy a Dubai Hills Estate child sleeps with every night is often the one parents are too nervous to wash. We handle it so it comes back looking and feeling the same.
Our Soft Toy Method in Dubai Hills Estate
Inspect and Test
Seams, eyes and noses are checked, electronics removed or sealed, and dye tested somewhere hidden.
Hand Wash and Sanitise
Cleaned in sections at low temperature, with a sanitiser worked through the filling.
Dry Through and Brush
Dried until the centre of the stuffing is dry, then the fur is brushed back up.

Soft Toy Questions From Dubai Hills Estate Parents
No, because it never goes near a machine drum. Drums split seams, loosen glued eyes and push stuffing into lumps. Each toy is washed by hand in sections at a low temperature and dried flat, so it returns to your Dubai Hills Estate home with the same shape and face.
- No tumble drying at any stage.
- Seams, eyes and noses checked before and after.
Expect it home again in 2 to 3 days. Washing is quick, but drying to the middle of the stuffing takes time and cannot be hurried with heat. If this is the toy a child needs to fall asleep, say so, and collection is timed so the toy is not missed at night.
- Book on a weekend morning for a return mid-week.
- Large, dense toys sit at the upper end of the range.
Yes, that is the purpose of sanitising the filling. Dust mites live inside the stuffing rather than on the fur, so a surface wipe does little. The sanitiser goes through the filling, and the toy is then dried completely, which is what keeps numbers down.
- Popular with families managing asthma and eczema.
- Parent tips: soft toy care guide for UAE parents.
Yes, in most cases the electronics are protected. Removable battery packs and sound boxes are taken out first and put back afterwards. Units sewn inside are sealed and kept dry while the rest is cleaned. If that is not possible without risk, we tell you before starting.
- Remove batteries yourself if you can.
- Mention any sound feature when you book.
Fresh marks usually clear, while older ones may only fade. Milk, food and mud from the park tend to lift completely. Ink, dye transfer and sun-bleached patches often stay partly visible because the colour has left the fibre. We treat each mark gently rather than scrubbing.
- We assess stains at inspection, before cleaning.
- Scrubbing mats plush, so we avoid it.
Prices run from AED 55 to AED 120 by size. A medium toy sits in between at AED 70. The price covers the hand wash, the sanitising of the filling, drying and brushing. Even for a single small toy, collection and return are free anywhere in Dubai Hills Estate.
- Send a photo and we confirm the size band.
- Other rates: the Laundrykhalas price list.
Yes, giant plush falls in the large band at AED 120. Metre-tall bears and big character toys are cleaned exactly like a small teddy, by hand, in sections, sanitised and dried through. Size changes the price and drying time, but not the method we use.
- Measure the height and send a photo.
- Neighbours book too: toy pickups in Al Barsha South 1.
Yes, it can join the rest of the family order. Many Dubai Hills Estate parents add the favourite teddy to a bedding or uniform pickup. Each item keeps its own price and timing, so sheets may be home a day before the toy.
- Bedding: cot sheets and towels.
- Party costumes: character suits cleaned.
- Clothes: weekly bags by weight.

Contact usWhat parents say in Dubai Hills Estate.
"Had my son's first teddy collected from Dubai Hills Estate once the fur went flat and grey, and the stitching is all intact. Air-dried rather than tumbled, which is clearly the difference."
"Booked on another parent's recommendation and the sanitising was done through the stuffing, not sprayed on. That honesty is why I went back."
"My daughter's bear has been slept with for four years and I was too scared to wash it. It came back clean and still soft, and she did not notice anything different about it, which was the whole point."
via Google "We do this every couple of months now because of my son's asthma. They clean the bedding and his two toys together and the difference in his mornings is obvious."
"Big unicorn plush, about a metre tall. Took four days because of the drying, which they told me upfront, and it came back fluffy instead of the flat mess I got from the machine last time."
via Trustpilot "They found a loose eye on one of the toys and told me instead of sending it back like that. Small thing, but with a toddler in the house it mattered."
"We sent eleven toys from our nursery playroom. Collected on Sunday, back midweek, all labelled and counted correctly. The batch price was fair for the work."
via Website "A singing elephant with the sound box sewn in. I assumed it was not washable. They cleaned around the unit and it still plays, so I was wrong."
"My mother's teddy from the sixties. They said in advance the faded patches would not improve and not to expect white, and that honesty is why I used them again."

Toys are collected from villas in Maple and Sidra, homes by the golf course and flats near Dubai Hills Park. Each one has its colours tested on a hidden patch first, is washed by hand in sections, and dries until the centre of the stuffing is dry.
