No, the reception desk can hand the bag to the driver. Put your name and room number on it, then tell us it is waiting at the desk. The driver takes it away and later returns the clean order to the same counter in a sealed bag, so nothing is left lying around the lobby.

Because the two processes are quite different. Washing puts a lot of clothes into water together, so weight is the fair measure. Dry cleaning treats each garment separately, with its own solvent cycle and hand pressing, so it is priced by the piece. Mixed orders are totalled in the chat.
