Jood Hotel Apartments: Same‑Day Laundry, Dry Cleaning & Pressing

Swimsuits from the children's pool, school-age tees, towels and pyjamas for four or six people all go in the same weighed bag. Everything is washed, dried and folded at our workshop, and it returns to Jood the following day, ready for the wardrobes. The children's pool and the playground downstairs add wet swimsuits to the family routine.

Celebration outfits, school-run shirts and a husband's suit can ride in one order. Everything dry cleaned is hand pressed, and what reaches us by noon is delivered that same night. The Elite apartments have a terrace, and the family wardrobe tends to spread onto it.

Packing for six rarely leaves clothes smooth. Our steam press rescues shirts and trousers in a day, on hangers or flat, without a full wash. Name any delicate fabric in the chat. Day trips by Metro from the City Centre station leave school clothes in need of steam.

Park mud and playground dust come off trainers of every size. We hand clean each pair in two to four days, add a protective spray if you like, and take the whole family's pairs in one order. The Creek Park cable car and picnics mean grass and mud on trainers.

A family travels with many bags: backpacks, nappy bags, small suitcases. Each is cleaned outside and in over three to five days, and we agree the return day in advance so none is missing at departure. Families arrive with backpacks, nappy bags and cabin cases for four or six people.

Hems on party dresses, a trouser leg that needs shortening, a button that has gone missing: our tailors fix them in about two to three days. The price is agreed in the chat first, and timing can be discussed there. Hems for growing children are a regular request.

Weddings, engagement dinners and Eid gatherings bring out the finest wardrobe: gowns, abayas, sherwanis. We clean each piece over one to two weeks, deliver anywhere in Dubai and quote the price in the chat before we collect. Weddings and Eid gatherings are the usual occasions for a gown or an abaya.

With the children's pool and playground downstairs, teddies get dirty fast. We hand wash them and dry them slowly, so nothing is crushed, within two to three days. Photograph the label if you are not sure it is safe. A teddy that sleeps in the bed is the one that needs a wash.

Mums and dads travelling with leather bags and jackets can send them along with the washing. Each piece is wiped and conditioned by hand rather than tumbled, which takes three to five days. We write when the order is ready. Leather bags and belts need a refresh now and then.
