Grand Excelsior Hotel Deira was the Sheraton Deira until the Grand Excelsior Hotels group rebranded it. A report names Bin Haider Hospitality, part of Mohammad Omar Bin Haider Holding, as taking over management from Starwood. The group lists about 280 rooms, an atrium restaurant called The Terrace, Le Café, a sports bar on the fifth floor, a health club, a pool and the Al Masah Ballroom for up to 500 guests. The group's sister property Excelsior Hotel Downtown is in Al Rigga, and guests here send us formal wear, conference shirts and pool towels.
