Fit the laundry around the zoo and the road
Most guests come for the animals and stay one to three nights, so the laundry question is usually what to do with a day's worth of dust. Tell us when you leave, and we say what must be handed over and when. Here is what each outing leaves behind.
Back in time to leave for the airport?
Enter your departure time. We add 3 hours for the terminal and the road from Al Bahia, then show the latest hour to hand the bag over.
The drive from the resort to Zayed International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes by taxi.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Hotels usually charge per garment. We weigh washing by the kilo and price dry cleaning by the piece, and you see the total in the chat before pickup.
- A 6kg bag is AED 60, a 12kg bag AED 99
- Shirt AED 15, trousers AED 18
- Kilos past twelve are AED 12 each
A full family bag costs AED 99 for 12kg. Dry cleaned items are priced one by one, so the total depends on what you send down with it.
- Beach towel AED 6, swimwear AED 12
- Two-piece suit AED 50
- Free collection once the order passes AED 30
Washing starts at AED 60 for 6kg, while dry cleaning is charged by garment. The quote you receive on WhatsApp is the final price, with nothing added by the resort.
- A shirt pressed on a hanger AED 9
- Blazer AED 40
- Evening dress AED 65
A family pays by weight, so all the clothes go into one bag. Two nights at the zoo usually fit into a single 12kg load, which keeps the cost low.
- One 12kg bag costs AED 99
- Children's shoes AED 35 a pair
- The drive out to Al Bahia is free
Booking sites list a laundry and dry cleaning service at the resort. You can also give your clothes to us, which many families do for suits and large loads, much as guests at Crowne Plaza Yas Island do.
- Pickup is at the gate or reception
- Prices are agreed in the chat
- Nothing appears on the resort bill
No. Leave the bag at reception and we collect it from there, which helps when you are somewhere inside the zoo grounds.
- Tag the bag with surname and chalet number
- The finished order returns to reception
- Message us once the bag is at the desk
Most visitors spend half a day to a full day at the zoo. Washing returns in 24 hours, and dry cleaning booked before noon returns that night. Resort guests staying one night should book on arrival.
- Send your departure time in the chat
- Shoes take two to four days
- Bags take three to five days
Check the zoo's own rules on food. If juice or ice cream lands on a shirt, tell us what it was and we treat the mark first, before any washing.
- Stains are inspected before cleaning
- A photo is sent if a mark will stay
- A dry cleaned shirt costs AED 15
Yes, if the driver receives the suit before 12 noon. It returns at night. Anything later comes back the next day, which still works for a wedding or dinner the day after.
- Two-piece suit AED 50
- Jacket pressed alone AED 25
- Mention the event time in the chat
Yes. Give us the new address in the chat and the order goes there, including to a hotel such as The WB Abu Dhabi on Yas Island.
- The same free delivery from AED 30
- Shoes and gowns are the usual late jobs
- Change the address any time in the thread
